Luftgekühlt 9 - Air | Water
The ninth edition of Luftgekühlt is taking the annual party north, to the San Francisco Bay Area. We are thrilled to finally answer the many requests (opens in a new tab)for a (opens in a new tab)second-day offering on Sunday, as part of our format this year.
This ticketing page is for pedestrian tickets, only. Car entrants will be by way of a submission process at a later date, but all car owners must hold an early pedestrian ticket for Saturday and/or a general admission ticket for Sunday.
**This is a private event and tickets are limited in availability**
Luftgekühlt 9: Saturday, April 29, 2023. This year’s venue and visit to the Bay Area is one we feel raises the bar beyond what we have ever produced to date. The car lineup focuses on some of the most unique, obscure, rarest, and some seriously famous cars of Porsche's history. Luft’s mission has always been to tell a fresh and all-inclusive story of Porsche’s many eras and enthusiasts’ build styles.
Air | Water*: Sunday, April 30, 2023. An all-new format spanning from the very inception of Porsche’s brand through to modern-day examples. We have been honing this concept for a few years and can’t wait to tell the story of everything from a Pre-A 356 to a 992 GT3RS, not forgetting the epic transaxle period! Start dreaming, and get planning.
*Sunday tickets are sold separately, you must also select an 'Air | Water General Admission' ticket if you'd like to attend both days.
Venue specifics will be released in the coming weeks, be sure to visit our event page for the most up-to-date information.
Anyone entering Luft 9 or Air | Water over the age of 12 needs a ticket.
Tickets are limited and will sell out. There will not be tickets available at the door.
Sales are final and refunds will not be provided for either event.

Luftgekühlt
LUFT-GE-KÜHLT / LƱFTꞬƏˌKYːLT / AIR-COOLED SOUL.
In the Porsche vernacular, Luftgekühlt represents all of the air-cooled cars from the manufacturer’s history. This spans an extraordinary period of vehicle technical development from the company’s inception in 1931 through to 1998.
The aviation inspired air-cooled engine requires a unique configuration which creates the soul stirring sound that bonds us together.
Predictability is something we resist. Our taste is diverse but we look to tell a unique and complete story that appeals to the Porschephiles and first timers alike. We embrace the cars and owners from the full breadth of Porsche’s air-cooled history. We specially highlight not only the new kids in the scene but celebrate the most storied competition cars in existence.
Beyond the cars themselves, we feature the engineers, designers, executives, racers and builders who have sculpted perhaps the most well-loved automotive brand on the planet.
