What is a Rallye?
You don’t have to be a racer or have experience in a rally competition to enjoy our Kick-Off Rallye. Each year it helps us kick off the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Any car enthusiast can register to participate in a fun but competitive mystery course that will test your driving, navigational and trivia skills through the Pittsburgh countryside. Paul MacIntyre and Chuck Larouere are already planning some new twists for this year.
Chuck Larouere returned as Rallyemaster in 2021 and brought the latest technology. We utilize Richta Rally so all competitors can download the app for free. It automatically acknowledges as you pass the electronic checkpoints. You will know your score and standing while you drive! Now everyone can enjoy participating in the rally, as no checkpoints crews are required.
Charity
Thank you for supporting the PVGP and our charities. This fundraiser provides residential care, treatment and support for people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities. With your help we have donated $6.7 million to charity since 1983.
