Artist Biographies:

Zuill Bailey, cello: A Grammy Award-winning cellist, Zuill Bailey is renowned for his emotive performances and extensive repertoire. Hailed as “a cellist with a golden tone and thrilling technique” by The New York Times, Bailey is a sought-after soloist and collaborator, bringing a depth of artistry to every performance. He is the Artistic Director of the Sitka Music Festival.

Kurt Nikkanen, violin: Kurt Nikkanen is a celebrated violinist known for his virtuosic technique and dynamic interpretations. Described as “a violinist of extraordinary skill and imagination” by The Strad, Nikkanen’s performances are acclaimed for their expressive power and technical brilliance.
