Biathlon: Individual M/W
This event is a time trial, with athletes starting in 30-second intervals and competing for the best finish time. There are four rounds of shooting at five circular targets, alternating between standing and prone positions.

Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games
The FISU World University Games is the largest international winter multi-sport event for collegiate-athletes. The Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games, happening January 12-22, 2023, will bring 2,500 collegiate-athletes and delegation officials from more than 50 nations and 600+ universities to Lake Placid and the surrounding North Country region. This 11-day international educational event and competition is expected to be twice the size of Lake Placid’s 1980 Olympic Winter Games as athletes will be competing in 12 sports and 86 medal events.
