Bob Harris Presents Jonny Morgan

The Sound Lounge is proud to host a unique evening of music and conversation in which broadcasting legend Bob Harris OBE presents a special set by the recipient of his 2024 Emerging Artist title at the UK Americana Awards, Jonny Morgan.

Bob hand-picked Jonny for the recognition, which saw the singer-songwriter join a distinguished group of winners that also includes the Wandering Hearts and Robert Vincent. It followed the 2023 release of Morgan's debut album Good Luck With The Music, which was written and recorded with friends, collaborators and fellow Americana notables such as Jamie Lawson, Bailey Tzuke, Holly Carter and Joe Coombs. Morgan and his band recently played a packed industry showcase in London to introduce material from his upcoming second album. 

Jonny thus becomes one of the latest artists to benefit from Bob's tireless championing of new music, a constant feature of his peerless, six-decade career as a radio and TV presenter, author, country music figurehead and more. Bob will introduce the evening before inviting Jonny to the stage for a two-part performance, after which they will share some of their favourite music stories and invite some questions from the audience. Please note that this will be a mixed seating and standing event.
