Call of the Void

Call of the Void is about a woman grieving the recent death of her brother in a cabin in the woods. Despite her intention to find quiet reflection, meeting a band (literally) of noisy neighbors entangles her in a mystery involving a missing scientist and an unidentified hum emanating from the forest. The film incorporates direct inspiration from the stories of H. P. Lovecraft, M.R. James, and many other “Weird Fiction” authors, and features live performances by the cast of both American traditional and original songs.
