Kindly arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you make your reservation on time. Please park in the Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel main parking lot. You may make your way through the main entrance and follow the signs for Eat Great Winter. Please check-in at the Admissions table within the Welcome Tent under the name of the person that made the reservation. All igloos - set to accommodate 8 guests - are heated, but we encourage you to dress in warm layers.

2024 Eat Great Winter presented by Members First Credit Union Release of Liability 

The holder of this credential (“Holder”) hereby expressly assumes any and all risk and danger inherent in being present at the 2024 Eat Great Food Festival (“Event”). In doing so, Holder voluntarily agrees to release from all liability whatsoever and not to hold liable Outlyr, The Dow Chemical Company, and/or the City of Mt. Pleasant. Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel and its vendors, and parties associated with it, any Event sponsors, or any of their respective parent companies, owners, members, affiliates, licensees, marketing and promotional partners and their successors and assigns employees, agents, or volunteers (collectively “Companies”) for any injuries, losses, damages, claims, liabilities or expenses that are caused or alleged to be caused by Companies’ negligent acts or omissions, or otherwise, resulting from or arising out of Holder’s attendance at the Event. Holder acknowledges and agrees that risks and dangers incidental to the Event include, but are not limited to, personal harm and/or disabling injuries, death, or property damage due to natural conditions (such as weather and terrain), human acts or omissions action by attendees at the Event (including acts of violence, war, or terrorism), and/or man-made structures or causes, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable. HOLDER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS COMPANIES from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, lawsuits, fees, fines, penalties, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses (including reasonable and actual attorney fees and all other costs of litigation, including expert witness fees) brought, imposed, or alleged by a third party against any of the Companies due to Holder’s use of this credential, including, without limitation, acts or omissions or allegations thereof while present at or around the Event site. The Companies shall not be responsible to Holder for punitive, incidental, consequential, or special damages. Holder agrees that the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted in the state of Michigan, and if any portion thereof is held invalid for any reason, it is agreed that the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect. By accepting this credential, Holder also agrees that his/her name, image, voice, and likeness may be used, reproduced, stylized, digitized, and altered and exploited throughout the world in perpetuity in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised without further compensation to Holder. Holder agrees and understands that the Event and related activities may be broadcast and distributed throughout the world in all forms of media including but not limited to all forms of television, cable, photographs, video and the internet. Holder agrees not to transmit or facilitate transmission of any account, description, picture or reproduction of any of the Event without the specific advance written permission of the Event organizers. Holder agrees to abide by all local, state, and federal laws and rules governing the Event and consents to reasonable inspection of his/her person and/or property. Event organizers are not responsible for items that are confiscated for security purposes, lost or stolen. The holder acknowledges that it is unlawful to reproduce or sell this credential. The holder agrees to conduct him/herself in a professional manner and treat all colleagues, competitors, Event staff, volunteers, attendees and Companies’ representatives respectfully. The Event organizers reserve the right to withhold this credential and/or any benefits provided by it at any time, including refusal of admission or ejection for conduct that is deemed by Event management to be disorderly or otherwise unacceptable in Event organizers’ sole discretion. If the Holder is a parent or guardian accompanying a minor or minors to the Event, by allowing the minor(s) to attend the Event with Holder, Holder is deemed to have given all of the foregoing grants of rights, releases and waivers on behalf of such minors.
