Synopsis:

This one-hour episodic series is inspired by the true story of John Partington. Charged by Attorney General Robert Kennedy with bringing down the New England Mafia, this good looking, square-jawed U.S. Marshal executes his duties so well that he establishes the basis of the Federal Witness Protection Program. But along the way Partington's life is turned upside down when he collides with one of the mob’s most vicious assassins, Sugar Kiely. As an honest man thrust into this violent world, Partington continually finds himself caught between two of the most powerful families of the era – the criminal Patriarcas and the patrician Kennedys.

The screening will be followed with a discussion with filmmaker Michael Corrente.

After which, we will present a retrospective screening of the iconic original feature film "Federal Hill" (1992)

Synopsis:

In Providence's Italian neighbourhood, Federal Hill, five young men face their choices as they become adults. Bobby owes $30,000 to a counterfeiter who's demanding payment, and asks Ralph to help him out and make a plan. Later, Frank's dad, who is one of the Hill's top mobsters, wants to have a talk with Ralph about some of this plan.
