Gretchen Rudolph is a Wilderness First Responder and hiking guide that has led hikes for Cotopaxi and Wondery Outdoors. Raised in Portland, Oregon, Gretchen grew up hiking in the Columbia River Gorge and specializes in bird identification. 

Explore nature and enjoy breathtaking views on a 2.3 mile hike through Kenneth Hahn Park, overlooking Culver City, Baldwin Hills, and West LA with views of the Pacific Ocean.

Route: 2.3 mile easy-moderate trail with limited sun cover, bring sun protection. Estimated to take around 1.5 hours to complete. 

Afterwards, make sure to stop by Crenshaw Dairy Mart for Ancestry Day(opens in a new tab) – a day of free programming celebrating their PST ART: Art & Science Collide series and exhibition Free the Land! Free the People! a study of the abolitionist pod(opens in a new tab) from 11am to 5pm. The event, themed around the CDM tenet of Ancestry, will feature extended gallery hours and interactive gatherings, and a special demonstration with Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE).
