Sinopsis

Conmovedora e hilarante a la vez, esta singular comedia comienza cuando Jenny (Danae Reynaud) viaja a la Ciudad de México en busca de su padre Tras la repentina muerte de su madre. A su llegada, Jenny no tarda en descubrir que su papá no es para nada un tipo convencional. Barry el Sucio (interpretado por el extraordinario Joaquín Cosío) es un carismático estafador con mucha experiencia que la abandonó siendo niña. Padre e hija comienzan como dos extraños tratando de encontrar algo en común, mientras Barry la introduce en su mundo de engaños develando los trucos de su “oficio.” Todo parece inofensivo hasta que Barry y Marisela (Diana Bovio), su novia y astuta cómplice, planean su próxima gran estafa. Con sentimientos encontrados, Jenny debe decidir si quiere ser parte de las jugadas clandestinas de su padre o regresar a su vida normal. En el camino hacia esa difícil elección, habrá muchas lecciones que aprender.

Synopsis

At once moving and hilarious, this singular comedy begins when Jenny (Danae Reynaud) travels to Mexico City in search of her father following the sudden death of her mother. But she soon discovers that her dad is far from a conventional guy. Barry el Sucio (played by the extraordinary Joaquín Cosío) is a seasoned and charismatic con man who abandoned her as a child. The two start off as strangers trying to find common ground, as Barry introduces her to his world of deceit by revealing the tricks of “the trade.” It all seems harmless until Barry and Marisela (Diana Bovio), his girlfriend and her cunning accomplice, put together their next big scam. Conflicted, Jenny must decide whether she wants to be a part of her father's clandestine antics or return to her normal life. Along the way there will be plenty of lesson to learn.
