SINOPSIS

Abrumada por su inminente divorcio, Isabel se muda a una antigua propiedad que alguna vez perteneció a su madre en una zona rural de México. Allí, se reencuentra con Mari, la empelada doméstica quien ha trabajado para la familia desde hace mucho tiempo. Al principio, Isabel se enfoca en su propia confusión interna y los problemas en su relación con sus hijos. Pero cuando la hermana de Marta desaparece sin dejar rastro, Isabel decide hacer algo al respecto y arriesgar su vida, a pesar de la advertencia de Mari sobre los peligros que agobian a muchas partes de México.

SYNOPSIS

While dealing with a divorce, Isabel moves into an old property in rural Mexico that once belonged to her mother. There, she reconnects with the family’s long-time domestic worker Mari. At first Isabel focuses on her own inner turmoil and the problems in her relationship with her children. But when Marta’s sister vanishes without a trace, Isabel decides to do something about it and risk her life—despite Mari’s warning about the lawlessness and dangers that afflict parts of Mexico.
