Schumann's famous piano concerto is filled with hope, joy, and optimism for the future. It's a perfect way to start the spring season. Starting the program is Chevalier de St. Georges exuberant and virtuosic 2nd Symphony, which will be followed by Schubert's enigmatic Unfinished Symphony.  

Special Guest Artist David Gross, piano, sponsored by Carolina Village

David Gross has performed extensive solo concerts both in the United States and Europe, including performances with the Berliner Symphoniker, Staatsorchester Frankfurt/Oder, Ensemble Oriol (Berlin), Rockford Symphony, Champaign-Urbana Symphony, Macon Symphony, Idaho Civic Symphony, Greenville Symphony, Anderson Symphony, Merrimack Valley Philharmonic, Hendersonville Symphony, and Brevard Philharmonic, as well as several university orchestras throughout the United States.

The Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra (HSO), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, will celebrate its 51st season starting in September 2023.
