MINI Marque of the Year

Schenley Park is the scene of one of the area’s largest car shows on the August 3-4 weekend. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix stages an International Car Show – a combined show of 17 distinct displays featuring more than 3,000 cars. Mini of Pittsburgh hosts this car show on German Hill. They have a shaded private area with a view of Turn 13.

Hours

The main gate on Schenley Drive and Forbes Avenue intersection (opens in a new tab)(opens in a new tab)is open(opens in a new tab) each day at 8:00 for registered cars and at 9:30 AM for non-registered cars. The show runs until 5:00 PM each day. MINIs will enter through Gate E on Schenley Drive.

Cost: $75 per car includes

• Participation in the Saturday morning Parade into Schenley Park
• Lunch for 2 on Saturday at the MINI of Pittsburgh tent
• A weekend display spot for your MINI
• A PVGP Race Program ($10 value) and a PVGP decal.
• 2 PVGP wristbands ($10 each value) that (opens in a new tab)gives you access to the show field and start/finish area all weekend. (opens in a new tab)

Parade into Schenley Park

MINI is (opens in a new tab)providing breakfast and an escorted parade of MINIs into Schenley Park. Everyone will meet at the Second Avenue Parking Lot. This will start at 7 am and will be available until 7:45 am where will tear down and start getting everyone back to their cars so the parade can leave as close to 8:00 am as possible.

Lunch

Once you arrive at Schenley and everyone gets parked, MINI will provide the VIP tent, lunch will be provided by Cooks Culinary and initial registration is lunch for two (2) additional l(opens in a new tab)unches can be purchased for $10. Also, there will be opportunities to meet MINI staff, win raffle prizes and purchase MINI swag.

Registration

Registration can only be done through this online Vivenu portal. There is no longer a mail-in option. Once you register here will need to print out and bring the printed receipt page or show it on your mobile device to (opens in a new tab)gain entry onto the Show Field. Your receipt will contain a QR code that will be scanned upon entry to facilitate a quick and touchless process. We strongly encourage you to pre-register now to ensure you get a spot on the field and to speed up the entry process. Refunds and single-day discounts are not available.

MINI Track Rides

Mini Track Rides are back! MINI of Pittsburgh is sponsoring the MINI Track Rides tent and customers will have an opportunity to (opens in a new tab)make a donation and take a ride for a hot lap around the track in one of our MINI track cars.

Charity

Thank you for supporting the PVGP and our charities. This show is a fundraiser that provides residential care, treatment and support for people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities. With your help we have donated $6.7 million to charity since 1983.
