Rémi, 20, a small-town French-Canadian boy, goes to New York to sell Christmas trees to pay off a debt. Sent to the depths of the Bronx, he meets Laura, a deadpan French activist, who will be his colleague for the next month. Together they will discover the vibrant community on their street corner and learn to survive the absurd and dramatic trials of the wild world of Christmas tree sales.
