The Dulwich Folk Choir
Come and join us for a free, informal, community singing event. 7pm-9pm so bring the kids! The Dulwich Folk Choir will sing a mixture of well known and old folky Christmas songs. You are welcome to raise your voices and join in, or just listen and get yourselves into the Christmas spirit!
Dulwich Folk Choir is a community choir singing folk songs from all over the British Isles and beyond. It has been running for over 15 years and is led by Aimee Leonard, an Estill Master Trainer and folk singer who works in theatre, community projects and coaching individuals. The choir has performed at the National Maritime Museum, the Cutty Sark and Cecil Sharp House among many other venues.
The Dulwich Folk Choir will be raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders. MSF is an international humanitarian organisation providing medical care in more than 70 countries. Their teams act fast to save people's lives in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. Look out for donations points in The Sound Lounge on the night.
