The Orange Circus Band
Our 'American Roots' series of shows, bringing you the best of traditional American music from this country's finest folk, blues, country, bluegrass and Appalachian music specialists and performers, is back on November 20th with The Orange Circus Band.
"I first heard The Orange Circus Band via Roger Daltrey who sent me an email saying, 'I think you'll love them, Bob.' He was absolutely right! Rooted in Bluegrass and UK Folk Music, they're a wonderful bridge across the Atlantic." (Whispering Bob Harris, OBE BBC 2 Country)
The band hail from Kent and Virginia. An acoustic band with an old time, bluegrass, Appalachian vibe. They also have a hand in rock and gospel music, and updating traditional songs taken from The Blue Ridge Mountains.
Traditional music with a wholly unique, fresh sound which has been compared to the music from “O Brother Where Art Thou” and Alison Krauss. You can expect wild playing, beautiful harmonies and boundless energy guaranteed to raise the roof and warm the hearts.
