Born Lee Audrey Nelms in Houston’s Fifth Ward, Trudy Lynn is an American electric blues and soul blues singer and songwriter, whose recorded work has been released on twelve studio albums, one live album, and four compilation albums.

She began her professional singing career in the mid-1960s, performing with musicians like Albert Collins and Clarence Green. Lynn’s early work was in rhythm and blues, and she even opened for Ike & Tina Turner. In the 1970s, she expanded her performing base from Houston clubs to regional and overseas venues. Her recording career started in 1989 with Ichiban Records, and her debut album, Trudy Sings the Blues, included a cover version of “Ball ‘n’ Chain.” Lynn’s powerful vocals and emotive style have drawn comparisons to artists like Koko Taylor and Etta James.

A twelve-time Blues Music Award nominee, Lynn received two career-defining awards in 2019: the Living Legend Blues Award from the Houston Blues Society and the Jus’ Blues Music Foundation’s Willie Mitchell Lifetime Artist Award. Now, as her eightieth birthday approaches, Ms. Trudy Lynn celebrates and asserts her position as Golden Girl, the title of her 2022 album, on Nola Blue Records.

Busker Incognito & The SHOW, a Pennsylvania-based band, is all about original blues, rock-a-billy, Diddly and bawdy jamming music and everything else that goes along with it. The group features a diverse array of original music from their two worldwide album releases, "The SHOW" from 2021, and "The SHOW - Live" from 2023. Audience participation covers often spontaneously erupt from the SHOW and that always rachets up the fun factor! For this concert event, Busker Incognito & The SHOW will also be offering world-debut performances of songs from their newest album, scheduled to be released the day of the concert.
