Young Bands Night - Showcase with Matt Helm

The Sound Lounge's Matt Helm is hosting another Young Bands night, to give young musicians aged 15-24 an opportunity to perform a night in their local venue.

The line-up is:

9.10 - Dogs Hosting Fleas

Dogs Hosting Fleas - Indie rock/folk band blending the sounds of Bon Iver, Bright Eyes and Black Country, New Road into a sound unlike many others. Formed in college by two best friends over the past year and a half they’ve grown it into a full six piece band with no signs of slowing down.

Minifigure - Performing a wide range of original songs mainly inspired by the likes of Blur, Bloc Party, Radiohead and Green Day, Croydon-based Minifigure have been described by Underground Sound as a “very young band with a lot of potential - all good players. Unreal drumming!”. They released their first EP - Ambitious But Rubbish - in August 2024.

Corruption - Cover band playing grunge, classic rock and indie.
