Pretending To Sing with Anna Toni
After a successful run at the Bush Theatre in West London, a homegrown drag queen brings a show about who she is back to the East, where it all started. And she is bigger, bolder, hairier than ever!
She’s tall, hairy, and all out of shaving cream! Rising drag star Anna Toni invites you to an evening of lipsync story telling and theatre cabaret. Pretending To Sing is a journey through the life of a kid who grew up wanting to entertain. Join Anna Toni as she tells the stories of her life through the songs that shaped her.
Produced and directed by Anna herself, from the numbers to the costumes, theatre and cabaret collide in a show that is a celebration of queerness, drag, and pretending to sing.
