Success Story
How EV Zug got its ticketing ready for a bigger arena
In one season, EV Zug got a new crest, a new look and the plan for a 9,000-seat arena. The new ticketing has to carry all of it, so the club started its onboarding with every department in one room.

Inside the onboarding
Dominic Wirth, Ticketing and Customer Service at EV Zug, and Salvatore Guccione, Director of Account Management Switzerland at vivenu, on onboarding a club in the middle of its reinvention.
Everything new at once
And everything has to work from day one
One system to sell it all
Tickets, food and drinks and merchandise sell together, in one checkout the club sets up itself.
A new crest
EV Zug redesigned its whole visual identity. The shop and every ticket had to carry it from the first sale.
A new process for season tickets
Renewing season tickets was a heavy lift every year. With the expansion ahead, EV Zug rebuilt the process to be leaner and faster from the start.

An arena that grows
From 7,200 to 9,000 seats for the 2027/28 season. The seat map had to be ready before the stands were.
One onboarding for all
Ticketing, marketing, finance, hospitality and access. Every department had to be in the room, not just ticketing.
Open by design
EV Zug chose a system it can build on. API-first was a deciding factor, so new offers and integrations don’t wait on a vendor.

« The experience of drawing the seating chart yourself in the system was the start of a new ticketing era. »

“We were looking for a partner.”
EV Zug is live on vivenu, and the first games of the season have already run on the new setup. The bigger step is still ahead: from 2027/28, the arena grows from 7,200 to 9,000 seats. The seat map, the products and the processes for that arena are already in the club’s hands. That head start is hard to buy later.
